Bookkeeping for online stores · early access

Know what your store really made last month

TallyHelm pulls in every order, refund and fee, keeps them in one ledger, and asks you only about the few it is unsure of. Month end becomes a table you can hand to your accountant.

Works with WooCommerce stores today. Read only access, no tax filing.

From scattered payments to a closed month

Online store money arrives in a hundred small pieces on different days. TallyHelm puts them back together in three steps.

1 · Pull in

Every order, refund and fee lands in one ledger

Connect your store once. Each hour TallyHelm reads new and changed orders, records sales and refunds as separate lines, and keeps sales tax, shipping and payment fees in their own columns. Every line links back to the original order number.

You only look at what the AI is unsure of

Most transactions are categorized as they arrive. Anything that does not fit a clear rule waits in a short review list instead of being booked silently, and the month stays open until that list is empty.

Your books stay yours. We read your store, we never move your money.

  • Read only

TallyHelm asks for read access to orders. It cannot change your store or send payments.

  • Nothing booked silently

Uncertain transactions wait for you, and every line traces back to its source order.

  • Keys kept in a vault

Store keys live in an encrypted secrets manager, never in code or logs.

  • No tax filing

Your accountant stays in charge of taxes. We prepare the numbers they need.

Questions

Something else? Email hello@tallyhelm.com and a person will answer.

Which sales channels does it connect to?

WooCommerce stores today. Other store platforms and payment providers will be added as early users ask for them; tell us which one you use.

Does TallyHelm file my taxes?

No. TallyHelm keeps your books and prepares exports your accountant can use. It does not file taxes or give tax advice.

What if a transaction is categorized wrong?

Transactions the AI is unsure about go to a review list instead of being booked silently, and the month is not closed until that list is empty.

How are my credentials stored?

Store and payment keys are kept in an encrypted secrets manager, never in application code or logs. TallyHelm only asks for read access, and you can disconnect any source at any time.

Can my accountant use it?

Yes. Monthly profit and loss and the full transaction ledger export to CSV, ready to hand over.
